Family Information

A family visit to the Kings should be a special one. Please see the information below to help plan your visit.

  • Please check individual show pages for information or age restrictions (if any) to see if the show is suitable for your child.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by somebody aged 16+. Children aged between 13-16 may attend unaccompanied by an adult but must notify the Box Office when booking tickets and make themselves known to a member of staff on arrival. No responsibility is accepted by the Kings Theatre or any of its employees for unaccompanied children.
  • We have baby changing facilities in the disabled toilet near the entrance on the stalls level and in the family room next to the ladies toilets on the Dress Circle level.
  • We have booster seats available for hire from the bars at a fee of £2. You are more than welcome to bring your own booster seats to the theatre.
  • Please refer to individual show information for any concessions. Proof of entitlement may be required.
  • Children’s tickets are charged at the full rate unless there is a concessionary price or “Baby on Lap” ticket stated on the individual show information. “Baby on Lap” tickets entitles infants under 2 years old to sit on the lap of an adult.
