Theatre has held a special place in the hearts of many for over 100 years. Countless times we have heard patrons reminisce about coming to the theatre as a child and the joy of seeing their first live show.
We intend to continue making memories for the generations to come and would be honoured if you would consider adding your legacy to our own.
By remembering the Kings Theatre in your will, you also have the opportunity to ensure that you can benefit something that is important to you by specifying an area your legacy could support:
Or you may leave an amount for the general purposes of the theatre. These legacies are extremely valuable to us as we can make use of them to assist the most pressing need of the theatre at the time.
The Kings Theatre is a registered charity. Because of this, there are benefits to you leaving a legacy for us. You can reduce the taxable value of your assets and thereby decrease the amount of inheritance tax due on your estate by leaving a legacy to a charity.
If you already have a will, a simple change can be made by adding a codicil. We have suggested wording available on request, but we advise that the wording you choose be carefully reviewed by you and your solicitor in the context of your will.
Making a will is one of the most important things that you can do to ensure that your loved ones will be taken care of and that your possessions are distributed according to your wishes. As the Theatre grows and develops, it would be wonderful to know that there are people waiting in the wings to support us, individuals who have seen the value of leaving a legacy for future generations to enjoy.
