Rustie Lee Joins Shaun Williamson and Jack Edwards for the Magical Pompey Panto – Aladdin at The Kings Theatre

The Kings Theatre in Portsmouth is set to sparkle this festive season as the multi-talented Rustie Lee takes on the role of the Genie of the Lamp in the highly anticipated Pompey Panto production of Aladdin.

A beloved TV chef, actress, and singer, Rustie will share the stage with previously announced Shaun Williamson as the evil Abanazer and local legend Jack Edwards as the hilarious Widow Twankey.


Rustie Lee, who first rose to fame in the 1980s on ITV’s TV-am, has become a household name with her successful career in television and musical theatre.

Beyond her work on Good Morning Britain, and reality shows like The Real Marigold Hotel and Celebrity Super Spa, Rustie continues to entertain the nation as a regular on ITV’s This Morning.

Rustie is also an accomplished singer and musical theatre performer, having starred in numerous musicals including Ain’t Misbehavin’, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, and South Pacific. Rustie Lee will be reunited with both Shaun Williamson and Jack Edwards.

Rustie made headlines with her performances alongside Shaun on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, where their performances led to record-breaking audience numbers. Additionally, Rustie and Jack shared the stage in the musical The Hot Mikado, further showcasing their incredible onstage chemistry.

Known for her bubbly personality and infectious laugh, Rustie will bring her unique energy and warmth to light up the stage as she takes on the role of the Genie, adding an extra layer of joy to the legendary Pompey Panto.
