Launched in April 2010, with just a handful of students, our Kings Youth Theatre now has 5 teaching groups. We have something for each age-range. Fun-packed Saturday classes (term-time only) are specifically tailored to each age group, exploring the performing arts through games, character improvisation, script work and performance.
As well as our weekly classes, we aim to offer performance opportunities throughout the year in a number of venues around Portsmouth including on stage here at the Kings Theatre.
Every summer, to round off the year of teaching we produce a large scale musical involving the whole of the youth theatre and each year our standards soar. #AlwaysEntertaining!
Fancy joining? Or know a certain little person that might enjoy being on the stage? Then get in contact with our Youth Theatre Coordinator Jo Bennington at email@example.com or call 023 92 852 203
