Here are the latest cast members to be named for this year’s Pompey Panto!
Julia Worsley played the role of Queen Rat in Dick Whittington back in 2020 but is delighted to be trading in her rat’s tail for a sparkly tiara and a magic wand to play Fairy Bow-Bells.
Another familiar face is Jacob Bailey who played Pirate Trev in Hook! and was a huge hit with the Portsmouth audiences. He will be playing The Cat in Dick Whittington this year!
As an impressionist and all-round funny man, Joe Rowntree received brilliant reviews for his role as Buttons in Cinderella at the Kings in 2022 and returns to play Silly Billy in 2024.
The new Gallery seating is also something to shout about – quite literally from the rooftops! The bench seating has now been converted to chairs with plenty of legroom. The theatre is still committed to keeping the prices for the Gallery as affordable as possible with tickets for the new seating at just £15 but with an option for a ‘Family of 4 Ticket’ in this new section for just £50 which includes ice-creams*.
There are still £10 tickets available in the remaining bench seats at the top of the Gallery.
