The Kings Theatre presents "Proms at The Kings: A VE Day Celebration" this May

The Kings Theatre is thrilled to present an evening that promises to be filled with nostalgia, patriotism, and unforgettable music, as we mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, with proceeds being shared between local charity Veterans Outreach Support and The Kings’ regeneration fundraising project, Elevation1907.
Proms at The Kings: A VE Day Celebration on Sunday 11th May, will bring the spirit of the Last Night of the Proms to life, with powerful renditions of the timeless songs that helped win the war.
From the stirring notes of Land of Hope and Glory to the rousing Rule Britannia, and the heartfelt White Cliffs of Dover to the majestic Jerusalem, our 35-piece orchestra, Resonate choir, and solo singers will be performing all the classic Proms anthems and songs that have become part of our national heritage for a night that both honours the fallen and celebrates the triumph of peace.
To help you get into the celebratory mood, we’ll provide Union Jacks for all – but don’t forget to bring your voices for a sing-along!
As part of English Tourism Week, we’re delighted to offer a special ticket rate for this wonderful evening. We are offering £5 off our band A tickets (normally £20) until 23rd March (midnight).
This is your chance to join in and create an atmosphere of joy, unity, and pride – don’t miss out on this extraordinary 80th Anniversary of VE Day.
We can’t wait to see you at The Kings for a night of glorious music and community spirit!
