From what time can I take my seat?
Our Box Office will be open from 90 minutes before a show start time and remain open for 30 minutes after. Our bars open one hour before the performance start time. The auditorium is opened at the discretion of the Duty Manager but generally 30 minutes prior to the show.
What is a matinee performance?
A matinee is an afternoon performance. Most shows have 2 matinee performances per week; one on Saturday afternoon and one during the working week, generally on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Some shows now also have Sunday matinee performances. Matinee performances generally start between 14.00 and 17.00, although they sometimes start sooner so please ensure you check the correct time on your tickets.
How many people can be accommodated in a box and how can I book one?
Four people can be accommodated in our boxes. These are normally only released for sale one week before the performance and are not available for all performances. Please contact the Box Office if you would like to book a Box.
Can I use a credit or debit card to pay for merchandise, drinks and ice-creams?
We advise you to pre-order ice-creams and programmes when you buy your tickets. We now accept card payments on all Front of House till points. Cards accepted include Visa, Maestro, Mastercard and AMEX. Please note: There is a minimum £5 spend.
Can I pre-order drinks for the interval?
Yes – we recommend that you order your interval drinks on arrival at the theatre.
What happens if I am late?
Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable point in the performance but it may not be possible to seat you in your allocated seat until the interval. Some shows have a strict no admittance for latecomers policy – this will be stated in the copy for these shows.
Can I take pictures or a video of the performance?
Taking pictures or videos is strictly forbidden and if caught you may be asked to leave so please don’t risk it!
Is there a break in the middle of the performance?
Most shows have a 15 – 20-minute interval during the performance, however not all. Please check the individual show page on our website for details.
Can I dance during the show?
For health and safety purposes the aisles must be kept clear at all times. We ask people who wish to dance to be considerate and not block the view of those who wish to remain seated. Our Front of House team may ask you to move to another area if views are being obstructed.
Can I get a message read out during the show?
This is at the discretion of each show and is very often not possible. Please give any requests in writing to our Front of House team on the night.
Can I meet the cast?
Any meet the cast opportunities/competitions will be promoted in advance through our social media channels or promoted on the night.
If I forget or lose something at the theatre, who should I contact?
Lost property is logged and stored at Box Office. If the Box Office is closed please call them on 023 9282 8282
