Snow White Pantomime Cast Announcement

The Kings Theatre Portsmouth with New Pantomime Productions would like to announce this year’s pantomime, the classic story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The show is set to be full of fun and laughter for the whole family.

The Kings Theatre are delighted to announce Melinda Messenger will star as the Fairy Queen in this year’s traditional pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Melinda’s career took off posing for artistes including Vivienne Westwood, and The Sun newspaper fell in love with her and they later hailed her as the “Girl of the Thrillenium!”
She is always in great demand by brands to spearhead their campaigns guaranteeing them fabulous profile.
Melinda has since released her own perfume, she is now developing her own range of essential oil fragrances which was being re launched in 2016 and her own cookbook, and she is currently writing her autobiography were there will definitely be some revelations..
Anita is delighted to be back in the glorious Kings Theatre with so many happy memories.
She has enjoyed performing with great orchestras including the BBC Concert Orchestra for Friday Night is Music Night and a concert version of Follies at the Albert Hall and a Gala Tribute Night at Drury Lane Theatre; both celebrating the 85th Birthday of Stephen Sondheim.

Simon is a broadcaster, director and producer who came to recognition with his television debut co-hosting the BBC’s flagship Saturday Show. A live fast paced combination of celebrity, music games and all out fun, alongside Fearne Cotton. Together they presented Top of the Pops Saturday which became a favourite amongst pop fans and music buffs.
Simon later joined the CBBC on air team presiding over the Broom Cupboard and its digital sister channel. His rising popularity gave him the opportunity to present other shows for CBBC including X-Perimental, Hard Spell Abby and the sleuth game show which he also co-created, Suspect (BBC Scotland).
This is Simon’s 13th panto playing everything from Buttons to Muddles to Smee (all more than once) and he’s proud to be back at the Kings again!
Marcus Patrick first appeared on UK television screens in 2000 when he was cast as Ben Davies in the channel 4 serial drama 'Hollyoaks'. Over the next 5 years, Ben Davies became one of the shows best known and most popular characters, featuring in many major story lines.
In 2005 Marcus appeared in the 'Hollyoaks' spin-off show 'Hollyoaks: let loose' and in 2006 a further spin-off show 'Hollyoaks: In The City'. The post-watershed channel 4 time slot allowed for much stronger storylines, an opportunity Marcus was keen to embrace.
After leaving 'Hollyoaks', Marcus went on to appear in the BBC1 lunchtime drama 'Doctors', and soon after in 2008 he landed a major role in ITV1 drama series 'Echo Beach' and its spin-off show 'Moving Wallpaper'. Marcus has also performed in many pantomimes over the years including Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Aladdin, and Jack and the Beanstalk.
Due to popular demand Marcus is 'coming home' to the Kings Theatre, Southsea this Christmas.
Jack has recently completed a run of the pantomime ‘Peter Pan’ in Yeovil playing Dame Starkey but before that completed a UK and International Tour of ‘Guys and Dolls’ playing Nicely Nicely Johnson as well as playing the same role in the West End
