Go behind the scenes and see the Kings Theatre as you've never seen it before. During one of our popular tours you will be given access to parts of the building that the public do not usually get to see. You will be given an extensive history of the Kings Theatre by one of our Trustees.

A screening of our new short documentary film about the role of the theatre during First World War and an opportunity to see our new WW1 exhibition funded by Heritage Lottery Fund.

A screening of our new short documentary film, during the war hundreds of plays were written about the conflict and the Kings Theatre was one of the key venues in the country to premiere such plays , this documentary film looks at one play in particular ‘Lads of the Village’ which was brought back to life and restaged on the Kings Theatre stage a 100 years on.
