Our Fees Explained
The price you see advertised is the price you pay inclusive of fees. Our fees cover all costs associated with processing your booking and also Building Improvement Fund charge (applies to shows at the theatre only) which goes towards improving our beautiful Grade II* listed building and future development in our Big Project. An additional charge will apply for postage.
Please refer to the performance you wish to attend for available concessions. The Box Office may ask for proof of entitlement to concessions. Only one concession, per person, per transaction, is applicable.
Children of all ages must pay full price unless a child concession rate or 'Babes in Arms' is stated (2 years and under pay £2 for all suitable theatre promoted events). These tickets are for admission only and will not provide a seat. These are only available via the Box Office, not online.
Rates for Carers are available on many events - please ask at Box Office for details. Please note proof of Carer status must be shown. This can be a valid Carers ID or a DLA letter
Please note that we no longer take seat reservations. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
Age restrictions are stated where possible but please check with Box Office before booking for an under 18 to ensure the show is suitable. Most shows are suitable for children, pending parental guidance.
For events that permit the attendance of under 18s, children aged 12 or under must be accompanied by someone over the age of 16. Children between the ages of 13 and 16 may attend a performance unaccompanied but must make their presence known to a member of the Front of House team. No responsibility is accepted by The Kings Theatre Trust or any of its employees for unaccompanied children.
Tickets will be held for collection if booked and paid for within 5 days of the performance.
Always check your tickets for performance date and start time – ensure you have the correct performance.
Take a Chance tickets
A number of shows will be involved in our "Take a Chance" scheme. The scheme is designed to encourage people to see shows that they would not normally attend. If you attend a "Take a Chance" performance and do not enjoy it then you can claim a refund in the form of a Credit Note. Please speak to the House Manager in the interval to arrange. Credit Notes will not be issued after the full performance.
