The theatre can offer unpaid work placements across a variety of departments including Marketing, FOH, Technical, Youth Theatre, Finance, Community Engagement, Event Management, Project Management and Archive.
These placements are for specific projects for which you be responsible, supervised by a permanent member of the Kings team.
These placements will provide valuable experience of working in a busy arts organisation, and provide you with a specific project outcome for your CV or portfolio.
The placement can vary length and weekly time commitment, but we would ask for a least a four hour per week commitment. Projects usually last three months.

Work Placements for International Students
The Kings Theatre is part of Training Visions which provides European students work placements in the UK. These placements are usually for three months and are for a specific project.
Over the past few years we have students from Bulgaria, Poland, Italy and France. Many of them have gone on to work within arts organisations in their native countries.
